Jerry Morales has spent more than a decade serving Maverick County with one mission: put people first and deliver results.

First appointed Commissioner for Precinct 1 in 2013 and repeatedly elected by community trust, Jerry helped guide Maverick County through some of its most challenging financial and infrastructure years — transforming deficits into balanced budgets, improving public lighting and road access, expanding recreational spaces, and standing firmly for taxpayer rights and transparency.

Jerry believes government should never work behind closed doors. It should be accessible, accountable, and led by those who serve — not those who seek power.

 

Now running for Maverick County Judge, Jerry is ready to take that proven leadership countywide — ensuring fairness across all precincts, strengthening emergency response services, restoring integrity in major development projects, protecting county employees, and opening county government to the people it serves.
